East Entrance gets a MAKEOVER

On October 5 (2010), a significant upgrade was made to the EAST entrance of Horizon Crest. A decorative rock (similar in design to the WEST entrance rock) was delivered and installed.

Thanks to the Lowensons for donating space in their front yard for this signage.

 Annexation Efforts Underway
You have have read or heard about recent efforts by the City of Bellevue to annex several neighborhoods that surround Horizon Crest. We are monitoring this story closely and will be posting updates as we learn of them.

1. On December 3rd, a "signature blitz" was done to try to secure remaining signatures (130 were needed) in the neighborhood of approximately 5000 people in EASTGATE (the area basically between I-90 and Newport Way).

2. Tamara Hills (78 homes) has already submitted enough signatures -- this is the area South of 46th and West of 151st (basically North of 47th Pl).

3. Horizon View (106 homes) -- up hill from us to the South and across 151st Ave -- is also being targeted, but has a signature deadline further in the future.

4. HILLTOP (40 homes) -- at the top of the hill -- is in negotiations with the city before undertaking a signature gathering effort.

If all efforts are successful, all "pockets" that are outside the City of Bellevue boundaries will be incorporated and all neighborhoods surrounding Horizon Crest will be part of the City.

When we say KEEP YOUR PETS INSIDE ... We MEAN IT!
You have probably seen the warnings we send about coyotes and bobcats spotted in our neighborhood and how you should keep your cats and small pets indoors.
