Introduction

Newsletter 
Newsletter reviewed, decision to hand deliver on Wednesday, April 28th.

Treasurer Report
Association currently has assets of $2,421.99 
70 memberships have been renewed in 2004

Insurance
Eric Dawes talked to Somerset insurance carrier. She was unclear on why we  needed insurance, but insisted that our association did. Discussion around event  insurance for picnic and clean-up day. Eric will look into event insurance. We  need more information on risk to officers. HCAA is currently insured through  November 2004.

Membership Committee

• Christina Peterman reported on recent work of Membership Committee
• Committee created packets sponsored by local realtor, all costs covered by sponsorship fee of $700.
• Packets include
  Folder with logo 
  HCCA maps, information, directory and HCAA magnet
  City of Bellevue information including parks, trails, sports info
  Bellevue information on restaurants and Bellevue magazine 
  
• Discussion on having sponsor and what that entitles sponsor to 
• Need for service contract to be created by Eric Dawes and reviewed by Jim Russell. 
• Christina presented new logo, well received and passed
• Survey presented
• Rep training on survey and membership visit scheduled for May 6 (since 
  changed to following week)

Kudos to Christina Peterman and Xiomara Pilon for job well done!

Enhancement Committee

• Jim Russell reported that Vicki Nickinovich had done majority of work for 
  committee.
• Clean-up days put off until June 5/6
• Discussion of alternatives to dumpsters, need to collect branches and  stumps, island beautification. 
• Next year if we coordinate with City of Bellevue for Arbor Day date, we may get 
  lots of free assistance.

Covenants
Bill Hornell reported that the first write up was complete and currently posted on 
web for input until July 1. After July 1, lawyer will review covenants. We are 
asking for assistance with this in newsletter.

Summer Membership Meeting
Possible September meeting with emphasis on City of Bellevue information. 
More discussion at later meetings
